The First Steinway Teacher and Educational Partner Program (STEP) Conferment at Steinway Boutique Manila

 

Last March 2025, Steinway Boutique Manila proudly hosted its very first Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner Program (STEP) Conferment at the Steinway & Sons Boutique in Shangri-La Plaza.

An Unforgettable Performance From Steinway Artist Dominic Ferris

 

The evening opened with an exceptional performance from Steinway Artist Dominic Ferris, a celebrated British pianist and global ambassador of Steinway & Sons. Known for his artistry and versatility, Dominic has graced prestigious stages—including performing at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton—and collaborated with icons such as Barry Manilow and Priscilla Presley. His recordings have surpassed 5 million sales, solidifying his reputation as a world-class artist.

 

Following his performance, Dominic delivered an inspiring talk on navigating a fulfilling career as a pianist, emphasizing the value of formal training and the importance of community support in navigating a music career.

Honoring Our Philippine STEP Partners

A highlight of the evening was the conferment of our very first Philippine STEP Partners: Rica Delos Angeles and Benedict Jasmin. Both are accomplished pianists and dedicated pedagogues, choosing the Boston 156 PE II as their piano of choice—a superior instrument for personal practice, teaching, and performance. We are honored to welcome them into the Steinway Teacher family and look forward to supporting their continued work in shaping the next generation of musicians.
